Waterfalls Kravica (BiH)

Kravice waterfalls are located around 75 kilometers from Zivogosce Blato (direction map is attached below the text).

Kravica waterfall is located in Studenci near Ljubuski, on the river Trebižat which is 50 kilometers long. It appears on the area where the river Trebizat creates a magnificent waterfall, whose hight is 30 meters. The crisp and clear turquoise water that hits the rocks, creates a water amphitheater with the water pool underneath. The pool is ideal for water sports and swimming under waterfalls during summer period . This incredibly inspiring landscape attracts around 200,000 tourists every year.

Travertine area around the waterfall Kravica are a part of geological monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A long time ago, many mills and stood for rolling cloth were active by the waterfalls. Today, these stone mills are mainly along the river as a reminder of those times, and just a few of them still works. Near Kravice waterfalls, there is a small cave, open on both sides, and it is also very attractive to visit. In the cave, there are stalactites of calcium carbonate, an old mill and a little boat.

Kravice are one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Herzegovina.
